Our Mission
The Norwalk Education Foundation is an independent, nonprofit organization committed to quality public education for all of Norwalk’s children.
We effect positive change by providing programs and funds for innovative classroom instruction, teacher and technology training, and a variety of learning opportunities beyond the school day.
Our Beliefs
We believe that an excellent public education is every child's right.
We believe that an excellent public education requires a well-informed and supportive community,
caring and competent educators, a supportive and responsive school environment, and sufficient financing to achieve educational goals.

Our Strategy
We accelerate innovation in the classroom by identifying and developing programs that improve education.
We advocate for quality public school education by improving teacher quality through classroom innovation and technology training,
by offering students technology, literacy, and enrichment programs, by collaborating with other community groups to improve public education,
and by being a critical friend to the Norwalk Public School system.
